Q: Will I be submerged at any of the water obstacles, will I need a waterproof headtorch?

A: Your head may get submerged under a little water, a waterproof headtorch is recommended.

Q: Can I buy a headtorch in the race village at Nuclear Blackout?

A: Yes, from the My Sports & More stand – no discount will apply though

Q: How long does it take the average person to do one 5k lap in the dark?

A: In 2017 the fastest Blackout racer took 36 minutes, the slowest 2hrs 49mins

Q: Does the Blackout course go through the Secret Nuclear Bunker on every lap & are the lights out?

A: The bunker will be plunged into darkness, there’s no moonlight or natural light, so be prepared. Every racer – whether you’re on 1 lap or 4 will get to run through the Bunker! #FeelTheBurn
