As the competitive highlight of Nuclear Rush, we are proud to host the British OCR Championship in 2026.
Supported by British Obstacle Sports and designed for elite and pro OCR athletes, this championship delivers the ultimate test of strength, endurance, agility and mental resilience. Competitors face mandatory technical obstacles, battling it out for national titles and the chance to prove themselves among the UK’s very best.
Set across rugged terrain with water, mud and highly technical obstacles throughout, the course demands precision, power and mental grit. It’s a rare opportunity for athletes to push their limits, compete at the highest level in the UK, and earn recognition as a top performer in the world of obstacle racing.

Important Information
- The British 12K+ Championship will be chip timed
- This event uses the 12K Rush course with an additional route and obstacles specifically for the British Championship
- There are 60+ Rush Obstacles
- All Rush course obstacles are mandatory
- All mandatory obstacles must be completed & can be attempted as many times as required in order to complete & move on. Failure to complete will result in a penalty
- Penalty obstacles must be completed on first attempt – penalty system details will be announced in the pre-race programme
- Obstacles to be completed as directed by marshals/adjudicators and to the rules in the pre-race programme
- Complaints or appeals must be reported to the relevant Technical Official team member according to the BOS appeals process which will be detailed in the pre race programme
- Competitors must be BOS current members at the time of the event
- Runners will be expected to warm themselves up
- Nuclear Rush non-competitive waves will start after all British Champs waves have set off
- 2026 British Champs Medal for all finishing competitors.

- Race as elite, AG, para, or experience the same champs course in open wave. We also have an international wave for our overseas friends. There are no qualification requirements for any category.
