Covering rugged farmland, woodland, lakes, and muddy terrain over three laps of 6km each, participants tackle 70+ high-intensity natural and man-made obstacles per lap.
Chip-timed with no penalties for skipped obstacles, the race is designed to test stamina, strength and mental toughness, while allowing racers to pace themselves and enjoy the adventure.

Oblivion Mentor
Michael Greenslade is the Nuclear Races Oblivion Mentor.
As a fully qualified PT, an instructor at Wild Forest and with experience of racing at Nuclear Races, including the inaugural 42K Oblivion race in 2015, he has first hand knowledge to share with you.
Michael has also completed full and half Ironmans, ultra runs with challenging elevations and is a regular open water swimmer.
A weekly training plan will be available with top tips on nutrition to prepare you for this ultimate challenge.

Important Information
- This is a lap race.
- 1 lap = 12K and 70+ obstacles.
- Exclusive start time (8am).
- Chip timing: either competitive or non-competitive, YOU decide!
- Every entrant will receive an email 2 weeks before the event to confirm if they will run as a competitive runner or for personal completion.
- Competitive runners will have a secure band which must be displayed at all times.
- Competitive runners will have a minimum of 5 compulsory penalty obstacles which must be completed (multiple attempts allowed). If not successful a penalty bear crawl must be completed to ensure you keep your competitive band (Marshals will have the power to remove bands for non-completion).
- Runners entering for personal completion will not be given a band and will not be required to complete the penalty bear crawls.
- All runners both competitive and non-competitive must make genuine attempts at all obstacles.
- Competitive runners can be disqualified from the competitive ranking and have bands removed for avoiding any obstacle.
- The race will finish after 8.5 hours.
- Runners will be unable to start their last lap after 2pm.
- We will start clearing the Oblivion course from 4.30pm (last runner first).
- If you are running competitively it is your responsibility to report to chip timing on completion of your race to show your band (why not show your band in your Survivor Wall photos for bragging rights?).
