Teams and Groups

At Nuclear we welcome teams & groups to take part in all our obstacle race events. Working within your team and outside of it is what obstacle racing camaraderie is all about!

HOW TO CLAIM TEAM DISCOUNTS

Nuclear offers discount for teams/groups with 10 or more individuals.Once you have set up your team name & reached 10 team members the booking system will automatically refund 10% discount to all members (onto every card(s) a booking was made under.) Thereafter all bookings made are discounted automatically.

If your team hits 30, 60 or 100 members we’ll add a free place and DryRobe. Email damian@nuclear-races.co.uk when you reach these grand milestones so we can arrange your free place.

A note about Team Discounts:

The early-bird price for all events is the cheapest team price. Once the early-bird offer has ended, the 10% team discount will apply.

HOW TO BOOK A TEAM 

  1. As the TEAM CAPTAIN select the event you would like to enter.
  2. Scroll down to the team entry tabs and click on “Sign up a team now”
  3. Enter your team name.
  4. Enter the number of places you would like to book or hold, minimum is 5 team members. Please include your entry in the team size.
  5. Select private or public. Private teams will require a password to join; public teams do not require a password.
  6. Click sign up now.
  7. If you are the team captain select “Are you the team captain YES”
  8. Enter your details
  9. Select the team wave start time (IT IS IMPORTANT YOU CHOOSE A WAVE TIME WITH ENOUGH SPACES FOR THE WHOLE TEAM TO JOIN. SPACES CAN NOT BE ADDED TO A FULL WAVE)
  10. At the bottom of the form you have the option to finish and pay for your space or add the details of another team member and pay for them (you and the extra team member will take up two of the team size you selected earlier).
  11. Once you have paid, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address used when booking. It has the team name and password (if it’s a private team) you’ll need to pass onto other team members.

CAN I HOLD PLACES FOR MY TEAM SO WE CAN RUN TOGETHER?

When the team captain creates a team and pays for him/herself, reserved places will be held for a maximum of 30-100 days (race day countdown dependent).

When the holding period expires, places will automatically go back for sale on the website.

Please note – reserving places only guarantees a space not a entry fee price hold (a price rise during the holding period will see all new team members registering at a higher price).

HOW DO TEAM MEMBERS JOIN MY TEAM?

  1. Send your team-mates the team name and password from your confirmation email.
  2. Tell team members to select & book the same event you have set the team up for via the website eg Rush 12k team entry
  3. The team member selects join team.
  4. Enter the team name.
  5. Enter password (if team is ‘Private’).
  6. Fill out form.
  7. At the end of the form finish and pay or add another member then pay.
  8. Once paid a confirmation email will be sent to the email used at booking.
