HOW CAN PEOPLE JOIN MY TEAM?

You can add more team members as long as you’ve reserved spaces in your team.

  1. Go into your race confirmation email and follow the personalised link. Pass the team name and password to your new team mates. They should SELECT EVENT > SELECT DAY > SELECT GREEN BUTTON ‘JOIN TEAM’ (NOT YELLOW REGISTER YOUR TEAM).
  2. If you’re booking on behalf of other team members, make sure you have all their relevant information: top size | medical conditions | DOB, their email address not the team captain’s or they won’t receive any results/photos or post race communication. You must also get permission (from the participant) to sign the waiver on their behalf.

Reserved spaces will be held for 30 days from the first registration, after that time the spaces are released back onto the open market.

HOW CAN I CHECK WHO IS IN MY TEAM?

The team captain can enter their race confirmation email & select SEE THE LIST OF TEAM MATES.

CAN I CHANGE THE WAVE TIME FOR MY TEAM?

Once you have set up your team, the wave time cannot be changed.

HOW DO I VIEW/EDIT/TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION?

You can view, edit & transfer your registration via your personalised link in your race confirmation email.

SOME OF MY TEAM WISH TO TRANSFER TO ANOTHER EVENT?

Anyone who is in your team can transfer to another event in the same year. This is done individually via the team member’s own race email confirmation. At the time of transfer, there is the option to transfer as an individual or set up a new team & become the team captain of the booking. This will not affect the team captain or the rest of the team members who are taking part in the current race.

CAN THE WHOLE TEAM TRANSFER TO ANOTHER EVENT?

Yes, there are a number of ways this can happen:

  1. The current team captain can transfer first to the new event agreed by the team & set up a new team (CLICK ON THE YELLOW REGISTER A TEAM BUTTON).  At this point the team captain must reserve the number of places for the rest of the team to join.  Once the team captain has checked out new confirmations will be sent.  These new details must be forwarded to all the team members so they can join the newly set up team. This can be done via their own race confirmation email from the event they can no longer attend.

SELECT > TRANSFER TO ANOTHER EVENT > SELECT JOIN TEAM (GREEN BUTTON) and enter team name & password if necessary.  Complete the booking form and a new email confirmation will be sent.

  1. Any member of the team can transfer to the new event and set up the team which will make them the team captain.
  2. Team members can transfer out individually without joining or setting up a team – they can still run together – as long as the same wave (start time) has been selected.

YOU CAN ONLY TRANSFER ONE PERSON AT A TIME & IT MUST BE DONE BY EACH INDIVIDUAL EMAIL CONFIRMATION. TRANSFERRING CANNOT TAKE PLACE BY ONE PERSON

IMPORTANT – If you press refresh or need to make any changes before checking out, please click the red cancel transfer button on top right hand corner otherwise you will be charged the full ticket price again. 

HOW CAN I INCREASE MY TEAM SIZE?

You can’t increase your team size yourself, however team captains can make a request by emailing bookings@nuclear-races.co.uk with team name, date of race and the number of extra spaces required.  As long as there’s availability in the wave we will increase your team size.

WHY IS MY TRANSFER TO ANOTHER EVENT GREYED OUT?

There are 2 reasons why this may happen:

  1. Transfer deadline has passed.
  2. You have started a transfer and it is incomplete.  To clear the error close web browser and return to your email confirmation and start the process again.  Allow a 5 minute break before retrying.
I AM IN A TEAM HOW DO I TRANSFER MY TICKET TO A FRIEND?
  1. You will need the person’s email address for you to transfer a ticket over to them.
  2. SELECT TRANSFER TO A FRIEND via your own race email confirmation, enter the email address of the friend.  
  3. Your friend will receive an email from Nuclear Races Ltd inviting them to take up your place, they must action within 36 hours of receiving the email or before a transfer deadline for the race.  They must click the link on the email and follow the registration process.  YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE WAVE (START TIME) at this point. They will officially be part of the team you are leaving but they do not have to run with them. At checkout they will be charged the current transfer fee.  All monies are between you and the new participant not Nuclear Races. 
WHY HAS THE PERSON I’VE TRANSFERRED MY TICKET TO NOT RECEIVED THE TRANSFER INVITE EMAIL?

Ask them to check their junk/spam folder for an email from Nuclear Races Ltd.
If it is not there go back to your original email confirmation and click transfer my ticket and cancel this transfer. We would suggest you check you have entered the right email.
