OBLIVION EXTREME 12TH MAY 2024

Oblivion EXtreme 2024, has potential for 60K with 350+ obstacles, minimum 3 laps to complete the classic Nuclear EXtreme event.

Designed to challenge the fastest and fittest obstacle race athletes, it’s a brutal challenge.

8.5 hours to complete as many 12k laps of the Nuclear Rush course completing 70+ man made and natural obstacles per lap, this event requires hardcore training to gain your Oblivion EXtreme title overcoming a physical and mental test of endurance, strength and skill.

OBLIVION MAXX 21ST SEPTEMBER 2024

Oblivion MaXX 2024, potential for 70k with 420+ obstacles, minimum 8 laps to complete the Nuclear MaXX event.

Designed to challenge the fastest and fittest obstacle race athletes, it’s a brutal and physical challenge with the added task of running both day and night for 13 hours completing as many 5k laps on the Nuclear Blast and Blackout course.

OBLIVION eXtreme Event Format
  • This is a lap race.
  • 1 lap = 12K and 70+.obstacles
  • Exclusive start time (8.30 am).
  • Chip timing either competitive or non-competitive YOU decide.
  • Exclusive transition zone.
  • Pit Crew (max 2 people per runner) welcome at Transition Zone.
  • Oblivion Extreme 2024 medal for those who complete 3 laps or more.
  • Nuclear Rush medal for completing less than 3 laps.
  • Personalised running vest for entrants before 13th March 2024.
  • Private Oblivion Facebook support with regular training tips, training plan information and Mentor.
  • Priority at all obstacles.
  • Every entrant will receive an email 2 weeks before the event to confirm if they will run as a competitive runner or for personal completion.
  • Competitive runners will have a secure band which must be displayed at all times.
  • Competitive runners will have a minimum of 5 compulsory penalty obstacles which must be completed (multiple attempts allowed) if not successful a penalty Bear crawl must be completed to ensure you keep your competitive band (Marshalls will have the power to remove bands for non-completion).
  • Runners entering for personal completion will not be given a band and will not be required to complete the penalty bear crawls.
  • All runners both competitive and non-competitive must make genuine attempts at all obstacles.
  • Competitive runners can be disqualified from the competitive ranking and have bands removed for avoiding any obstacle.
  • The race will finish after 8.5 hours.
  • Runners will be unable to start their last lap after 2.30pm.
  • We will start clearing the Oblivion course from 5pm (last runner first).
  • If you are running competitively it is your responsibility to report to chip timing on completion of your race to show your band (Why not show your band in your Survivor Wall photos for bragging rights?).
OBLIVION MAXX EVENT FORMAT
  • This is a lap race.
  • 1 lap = 5K and 30+ obstacles.
  • Exclusive start time (9.00am).
  • Chip timing either competitive or non-competitive YOU decide.
  • Exclusive Transition Zone.
  • Pit Crew (max 2 people per runner) welcome at Transition Zone.
  • Oblivion MaXX 2024 medal for those who complete 8 laps or more.
  • Nuclear Blast/Blackout medal for those who complete less than 8 laps.
  • Private Oblivion Facebook support with regular training tips and Mentor.
  • Priority at all obstacles.

OBLIVION MENTOR

Michael Greenslade is the Nuclear Races Oblivion Mentor.

As a fully qualified PT, an instructor at Wild Forest and with experience of racing Nuclear Races, including the Inaugural 42K Oblivion race in 2015, he has first hand knowledge to share with you.

Michael has also completed full and half Ironman, ultra runs with challenging elevations and is a regular open water swimmer.

A weekly training plan will be available with top tips on nutrition to prepare you for this ultimate challenge.
