Olympic Bronze Medalist visits Nuclear Rookies

We’re so honoured to welcome Olympic bronze medalist Chloe Rogers from Dame Kelly Holmes Trust as a special guest at Nuclear’s Rookie taster session on Thursday 18th August.

Chloe won her bronze Olympic medal for hockey in the London 2012 London Olympics. She made her international debut against Japan in 2003 and has been present in the international squad ever since racking up a 162 international caps.

Highest achievements were at London 2012 winning a Bronze medal and prior to that two Commonwealth Games Bronze Medals. She worked her way up through the age-groups having represented at Under 16’s, U 18’s and U21’s for England.

A qualified Level 2 hockey coach and Level 1 golf coach, Chloe is currently a Team Essex Ambassador for the county council, working towards leaving a legacy for 2012. This involves a number of school/ club visits across the county including public speaking and mentoring.

We’re excited Chloe & Dame Kelly’s Trust is supporting our community and offering this amazing opportunity to our younger obstacle racers. Rio2016 is so inspiring for all ages, but what better way to continue motivating our children than a muddy obstacle taster session alongside a TeamGB Olympic medal winner!

It’s Chloe’s first visit to Nuclear, but she’s really looking forward to meeting the #NuclearFamily and getting her mud on with everyone. She’ll be around to chat and share her fitness motivation!

There are currently spaces on the 18th August Rookie (4-14yrs) taster session. BOOK HERE to avoid disappointment #TrustNuclear
