(November 11th 2017)
As one of our #Marshalfamily you’ll be helping our Nuclear race day be a great one! Volunteering to marshal may include: marshalling an obstacle on the course, duties in the event village, finish zone or flow management.
Children & pets are not permitted to accompany marshals.
You can apply to marshal in the event village or out on our award winning course.
Course Marshals are allocated on a Health & Safety need – we cannot guarantee groups or friends will be placed together.
Event village marshals will rotate around all areas within the village on race-day, so you won’t necessarily be doing the same job all day.
Nuclear marshals need to be adaptable and flexible, you may be given a different job from the one you were originally allocated. Our volunteers are fully briefed on race day by team leaders. A marshal’s duty is to be motivating, helpful and able to deal with problems should they need to. We don’t expect our marshal crew to do anything they aren’t capable of doing. It can be a long, tough day so be prepared to be in the thick of an exciting, fast moving, demanding but exhilarating and hugely rewarding (at times MUDDY!!!!) environment.
To get the best experience from the day, get stuck in – embrace the experience! You’ll have a great time and the racers will love you for it!
As a muddy big thank you from Nuclear HQ, you’ll receive one of the following rewards:
EXTRA rewards for EXTRA SUPPORT:
If this all sounds too exciting an opportunity to miss – pre-register for a place now. One last thing. Please make sure you can commit to the date – check your calendar, work and child care arrangements before pre-registering. We understand emergency situations occur, but without you guys we can’t deliver the epic races we’re know for. We 100% appreciate your commitment and support.
