Family and friends are welcome to come and give their support at Nuclear Rush Weekend for FREE.
In order to manage our events to the highest standards, we need to account for every non-racer onsite at Nuclear Races on Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 May.
If you already know who will be coming to support you at Rush Weekend,
Nuclear strongly recommend they sign in online BEFORE arrival to avoid
queues at the event village entrance.

On race-day: you will need to register on entry to the event village
Choose from 6km or 12km course distances over ultra-gritty, properly muddy, obstacle-loaded farmland set in the heart of the Secret Bunker Estate, Essex.
Nuclear’s well known for delivering award winning events with big, high quality man-made obstacles designed to challenge and test every ability of fitness on fast-paced, flowing, punishing courses over epic natural, varied terrain. Expect the infamous Deathslide, Zip-lines & World’s longest monkey-bars (Gorilla Bars) at this event.
Join us for a chilled OCR festival weekend packed with obstacle racing for all the family (Rookie kids included), camping, live music & entertainment for all ages.
Obstacle Angels: A number of experienced obstacle racers will be on the courses ready to guide & advise #NukerNewbies or seasoned racers at trickier obstacles – where technique helps. Angels are marked in white hi-viz jackets.
We encourage you to bring your friends & family to come along & watch free of charge. They’ll need to sign in at registration before entering the event village.
Spectators are reminded that entering our private land is at their own risk. The entire event is Health & Safety checked prior to & throughout race day. Spectators must make their own decision as to whether they can reach or undertake the journey to spectating areas, which due to the nature of the sport, may be on uneven terrain.
There are excellent spectator obstacle viewing areas in & around the village (first 2k & last 2k). A course map in event village shows spectator accessible zones. Follow the black spectator signs to designated viewing areas. There’s no access to the full course due to safety concerns. Please tell your supporters to adhere to the No Entry signs & not to walk across fields of crops. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, please clear up after them.
Official Nuclear Photographs
On the day of the Nuclear event, there are more than 8 official photographers situated around the course.
The photographers are at 8 different points around the course to get shots of individual runners. They also take photos of runners crossing the Finish Line, capturing the big moment for them to keep. After the Finish Line you can take your FINISHER photo and MEDAL shot, just look out for the bright Orange vests – and remember to smile!
